Started in May 2010, Girl Detective is a Chicago duo (Rani Young and Jason Kersting) creating original music with a lush and cerebral postmodern / altrock sound. Influences include The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Psychedelic Furs and Cocteau Twins.
