Chicago duo Girl Detective (Rani Young and Jason Kersting) find themselves nestled between 80's-era goth, post-punk and electronic music with a lush nod to shoegaze. Formed in 2010, their sound balances dark and light to create audio and visual layers full of drama, dreams and hope.
